Quick Easy Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:

8 oz (225g) fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Crushed red pepper flakes (for a hint of spice)

Instructions:

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente (usually 8-10 minutes).

Drain the pasta, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water. Set the pasta aside.

Step 2: Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Be careful not to let it brown.

Step 3: Make the Sauce

Pour in the heavy cream, and bring it to a simmer.

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. If you want a bit of heat, add some crushed red pepper flakes.

Step 4: Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked and drained fettuccine pasta to the skillet with the creamy sauce.

Gently toss the pasta in the sauce, ensuring it's well coated. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta cooking water to achieve your desired consistency.

Step 5: Serve

Once the pasta is heated through and well-coated with the sauce, remove it from the heat.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

Step 6: Enjoy

Serve your creamy garlic Parmesan pasta hot in individual dishes.

Optionally, sprinkle some extra grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.

This quick and easy recipe results in a deliciously creamy and flavorful pasta dish that's perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. Enjoy!
