4 cups fresh spinach

2 cups yogurt (curd)

Salt to taste

2 teaspoons cooking oil

2 teaspoons paprika

2 teaspoons toasted cumin powder

2 cups finely chopped onion

2 diced green chilies

2 teaspoons mustard seeds

How to Prepare Spinach and Onion Yogurt Dip

Begin by washing and finely chopping the spinach leaves. Set them aside in a bowl.

Heat a pan over medium flame, add cooking oil, mustard seeds, chopped onions, and diced green chilies. Sauté the mixture for 2-3 minutes until the onions are tender. Once cooked, turn off the heat.

In a separate bowl, take yogurt, toasted cumin powder, and a pinch of salt. Whisk the ingredients together. Then, add the sautéed onion mixture to the yogurt and combine thoroughly.

Finally, fold in the chopped spinach and mix until well incorporated. Season the dip with paprika, toasted cumin powder, or black pepper to your desired taste. Serve the dip chilled for a refreshing treat.
