Ingredients:

 

4 catfish fillets

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

 

1. Prepare the Marinade:

 

In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. This creates a flavorful marinade for the catfish.

2. Marinate the Catfish:

 

Place the catfish fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the catfish, making sure each fillet is well coated.
