Tasty Easy Home Made Almond Joy Cake Recipe



Ingredients:

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon almond extract

- 1 cup buttermilk

- 1/2 cup shredded coconut

- 1/2 cup chopped almonds

- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

 

 Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x9-inch baking pan.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the almond extract.

4. Gradually add the flour mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Fold in the shredded coconut, chopped almonds, and chocolate chips.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
