Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- Zest of one lemon
Instructions
1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Let it cool.
2. Blend raspberries, simple syrup (sugar-water mixture), lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
3. Strain the mixture to remove seeds.
4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn.
5. Freeze the sorbet until it's firm and scoopable.
