Tasty Instant Snickerdoodle Cookies recipe



Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

- 1 tablespoon cinnamon


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until smooth.

3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients and mix well.

5. In a small bowl, combine the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.

6. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat evenly.

7. Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet.

8. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cookies are set but still soft.

9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
