Super Tasty Healthy Spicy Yogurt Lamb Curry Recipe


 


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lamb, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix yogurt, curry powder, turmeric, coriander, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Add lamb to the yogurt mixture, coating well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated lamb and cook until browned on all sides.
  5. Stir in the diced tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
  6. Cover and cook on low heat for about 1 hour, until the lamb is tender.
  7. Season with salt and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve with rice or naan.
